MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Cleveland Guardians-Minnesota recreation was suspended within the fourth inning Monday evening after a second rain delay with the Twins main 2-1.
The sport will resume Tuesday evening with the commonly scheduled recreation to comply with half-hour after its completion.
The Guardians scored on an RBI double by Kyle Manzardo within the first inning in opposition to Twins starter Bailey Ober.
Ryan Jeffers singled off Guardians starter Logan Allen and scored on a base hit by Ty France because the Twins tied it within the backside half.
Harrison Bader scored from first on a double by Willi Castro to place the Twins up a run within the second earlier than lightning led to a one-hour delay. They completed the second and performed a scoreless third earlier than extra rain led to the suspension.
Guardians RHP Gavin Williams (3-2, 4.29) was Tuesday's scheduled starter in opposition to Twins RHP Chris Paddock (2-3, 4.05).
