With the upcoming update, it seems that the whole Scooby Doo gang, or Mystery Inc. team is technically in MultiVersus.
MultiVersus has an ever-increasing roster of great characters, from so many different worlds and entertainment properties.
From Arya Stark of Game of Thrones to Gizmo from Gremlins, plenty of interesting fighters are making their way into the game.
And with the latest update, the Scooby Doo gang, from Fred to Scooby himself are all making their first appearances in the game.
MultiVersus 1.02 Update Changes Velma’s Passive to Add Mystery Machine
The latest update to MultiVersus changes Velma’s passive from the police car to the iconic Mystery Machine and the Scooby Doo gang.
The list of changes includes a rework of Velma’s passive, which prior to the update, saw her collect evidence and call the police on an opponent. Now, Velma will call her Mystery Inc. friends and they’ll arrive in the Mystery Machine.
It’s also worth noting that we’re unsure whether players will be able to see the Scooby Doo gang, or whether it’s only the Mystery Machine making its MultiVersus debut.
This isn’t the only major change coming from the latest update, as hitboxes and projectiles have been reworked in MultiVersus.
However, the move functions the same as it did before. The Mystery Machine will pick up the closest enemy and stun them, but an ally can destroy it.
While the update has yet to go live in-game, the patch notes for the upcoming update were released online before being promptly deleted.

While the gang themselves aren’t in MultiVersus as fighters yet, it seems that Scooby could be one of many upcoming characters in MultiVersus.
For now, most of the gang will only arrive as Velma’s passive ability. However, we wouldn’t be too surprised to see them become fighters in the future. We already have Shaggy and Velma.
