Managed burn to happen on Holly Shelter Sport Lands in the present day – WECT

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A managed prescribed burn will probably be performed in the present day on the Holly Shelter Sport Lands.
In keeping with Pender County Emergency Administration, the North Carolina Wildlife Fee will probably be conducting the burn on the east facet of the Sport Lands.
The burn is a part of the Wildlife Fee’s efforts to guard, handle, and promote wildlife and forest sources.
