State Takes Sunday Sport To Sweep Queens – Mississippi State Athletics

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State topped Queens 9-3 within the remaining recreation Sunday afternoon to brush its third-straight collection at residence. 
Aaron Downs led the Diamond Dawgs (11-4) on the plate along with his second-straight two-homer recreation and completed the day 2-for-3. Bryce Chance and Ross Highfill each went 2-for-4 with two singles apiece with Probability driving in a pair and Highfill accumulating one RBI. Sawyer Reeves and Noah Sullivan every doubled and drove in a run as MSU completed with 14 hits. 
Karson Ligon (2-1) began and logged 5 shutout innings on the mound solely surrendering two hits whereas putting out a career-high 9 and strolling two.
The Bulldog pitching workers completed with 14 whole strikeouts and restricted Queens (2-13) to 6 whole hits.
On Deck: 
State travels to Biloxi on Tuesday and Wednesday for the Hancock Whitney Basic at Keesler Federal Park. The Diamond Dawgs tackle Previous Dominion on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and Nicholls on Wednesday at 5 p.m. All video games might be broadcast on ESPN+
