There’s a new game coming from GTA veterans, and everyone assumed that the game would have blockchain technology.
At Gamescom Opening Night Live, a game was revealed called Everywhere. At the conference, it was discovered that Leslie Benzies (a GTA and Red Dead veteran) is hiring for a blockchain project in his blockchain department. As the news came out, Twitter folks started assuming that the game would be riddled with crypto aspects.
When he got to know about this rumor, he denied that rumor making it clear that Everywhere doesn’t have NFTs of blockchain technology. He then went on to make this political statement that the company isn’t ruling out its inclusion in the future.
Further, the developers made it clear that the positions are ‘research positions’ – it doesn’t mean that they’re hiring for blockchain technology, so there will be blockchain aspects Everywhere.

The developers are saying that Everywhere is built on Unreal Engine 5 and will NOT have blockchain technology as UE 5 doesn’t really integrate with blockchain. Now that the company has made it clear that NFTs are not included, we are still eager to know what the company will do in the future.
