Former WPIAL basketball participant Meleek Thomas, who transferred out of state for his senior 12 months, was chosen Monday for the McDonald’s All American Recreation.
A 6-foot-4 guard dedicated to Arkansas, Thomas was one of 24 boys chosen for the national all-star game performed April 1 at Barclays Heart in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Thomas now competes for Additional time Elite, an eight-team league in Atlanta with its personal academy for highschool college students. He ranks second amongst league scorers this winter, averaging 26.5 factors per recreation.
