The Call of Duty League Championship Finals are kicking off today, and there are 50,000 MW2 Beta codes up for grabs.
Call of Duty Vanguard is old news and all fans seem to care about is Modern Warfare 2. The 2022 title shares its name with perhaps the most iconic COD title of all time, and it’s shaping up to be an amazing game.
A sequel to Modern Warfare (2019), the game that revitalized the franchise, MW2’s release date is just around the corner. In a few months, all players will be able to go hands-on with the game for themselves and begin the grind for Warzone 2.0.
But before that, we’ve got a Modern Warfare 2 Beta supposedly coming next month. And if you’re hungry for an invite, today could be the day you get one!

How to Get a Modern Warfare 2 Beta Code
The Call of Duty League is giving away 50,000 Modern Warfare 2 Beta codes today, August 7, as part of its Championship Finals stream.
- To get a code, you’ll need to link your YouTube account with your Activision account.
- To do so, head to YouTube – Settings – Connected Apps.
- Find Activision ID and hit Connect, logging into the Activision account you use for Call of Duty.
- Then, simply watch today’s CDL Championship Finals stream for at least one hour to be in with a shot at nabbing MW2 Beta access.

What Time are the CDL Championship Finals?
The Call of Duty League Championship Finals take place today, August 7, at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM BST. The stream will be going live from 11:30 PM PT.
If you’re a lucky winner of one of 50,000 MW2 Beta codes, you’ll be alerted through the Call of Duty League website and the COD Companion app.
And if you miss out, there may be no need to worry. After all, one retailer initially claimed that an Open Beta for Modern Warfare 2 would be dropping this month!
