USC males’s basketball zero waste ‘inexperienced recreation’ a sustainability win – College of Southern California

The annual occasion places a highlight on USC’s efforts to scale back waste by reuse, recycling and composting.
The Trojan spirit was on show Tuesday when the USC males’s basketball group beat the Iowa Hawkeyes 99-89 on the Galen Middle, and so too was the college’s dedication to sustainability.
The fixture was the group’s annual zero waste “inexperienced recreation,” a chance to amplify USC’s work to scale back waste by reuse, recycling and composting. Followers who attended the sport noticed quite a few specialty trash bins and signage added to assist them higher get rid of their waste in addition to the assorted sustainable supplies utilized in concession stands.
