CDL Champs 2022 will give out Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta codes to a few lucky viewers. Here’s how you can participate and improve your chances!
Players will need to secure a code if they hope to participate in the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta.
Thankfully, Call of Duty League will be including a few MW2 Open Beta codes in its 2022 Champs Viewership Rewards.
Here’s how you can win one for yourself.
How to Win a MW2 Beta Code During CDL Champs 2022
To win a Modern Warfare 2 Beta Code, you’ll need to tune into CDL Champs 2022 for at least one hour, starting at 11:30 AM PT on Championship Sunday, August 7th.
During Championship Sunday, the CDL will be distributing keys randomly to 50,000 different viewers. To be able to participate, you’ll need to link your Activision Account to Youtube and watch the stream for at least one hour through one of the designated streams.
Doing this will automatically enter you into the competition.
How to Link Activision Account to YouTube
Here is how to link your accounts:
- You’ll need an Activision account. If you don’t already have one, you can Register for an Activision account here.
- Link your YouTube Account to your Activision ID through YouTube by clicking here.
- On the Connected Apps page, click on “Connect.”
- From here, you will need to log into your Call of Duty/Activision Account.
- Once you’ve connected your account, you’ll be all set.
But you won’t be able to watch just any live stream of CDL Champs 2022. Only certain ones will allow you to participate in the Viewership Rewards.

Where to Watch Call of Duty League Championship 2022
Players can watch the CDL Champs 2022 Championship in three different ways, which takes place from August 4-7.
Players will need to tune into either of the following streams:
Watching one of these live streams will automatically enter you for a chance to win one of the 50,000 Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta codes during the Viewership Rewards.
But if you don’t like leaving it up to chance, players can also earn an open beta code by pre-ordering one of the Modern Warfare 2 editions.
You’ll want to get all the practice you can get since some rumors say Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play will launch shortly after the game releases.
