CLEMSON — No. 12 seed Clemson football will play on TNT for the primary time this season in opposition to No. 5 seed Texas within the first spherical of the CFP.
The Longhorns (11-2) will host the Tigers (10-3) on Saturday (4 p.m. ET, TNT) at Darrell Ok Royal Texas Memorial Stadium. The winner advances to play No. 4 seed Arizona State, the Huge 12 champion, within the Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Jan. 1 (1 p.m. ET, ESPN).
This would be the first matchup between Clemson and Texas, and this will likely be considered one of two CFP video games aired on TNT. ESPN agreed to a five-year sublicensing settlement with TNT for the community to air two first-round video games in 2024 and 2025, then it can develop to 2 first-round matchups and two quarterfinals starting in 2026.

Clemson vs. Texas will likely be broadcast nationally on TNT. Dave Pasch and Dusty Dvoracek will name the sport from the sales space at Darrell Ok Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, with Taylor McGregor and Laura Rutledge reporting from the sidelines. All are employed by ESPN.
Pasch, Dvoracek and McGregor solely introduced one recreation for Clemson this season: Week 7 in opposition to Wake Forest. This will likely be Rutledge’s first Clemson recreation of the season.
The sport could be seen Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on TNT.
