
Ahead penalized for actions towards Maple Leafs on Saturday

NEW YORK – Detroit Purple Wings ahead Jonatan Berggren has been fined $2,148.44, the utmost allowable below the Collective Bargaining Settlement, for cross-checking Toronto Maple Leafs ahead Connor Dewar throughout NHL Recreation No. 479 in Detroit on Saturday, Dec. 14, the Nationwide Hockey League’s Division of Participant Security introduced immediately.
