Sucker Punch Productions has revealed that the DLC for inFamous Second Son titled Cole’s Legacy will be available for all players, for free on the PlayStation Store.
The studio does stipulate that this is not the case in certain regions, due to local restrictions. The studio also announced that it is working to make Fetch’s D.U.P outfit available for inFamous First Light.
For those unaware, the Cole’s Legacy DLC connects the dots between the end of inFamous 2 and the beginning of inFamous Second Son, so that players can understand how the world went from one state to the next.
Recently, Sucker Punch had to shut down some rumours regarding the studio’s old IP, saying that it has “no plans to revisit inFamous or Sly Cooper right now, and no other studio is currently working on projects related to those franchises either.”
Unfortunately for fans, this update, and then the addition of Fetch’s outfit, will likely be all we hear about inFamous anytime soon.
