Fortnite has been hinting at Skating and Roller Blading for a while, and we think we know when these features will be introduced in the game!
On July 12, Fortnite added a new map change – a skatepark located right next to Sanctuary. You can find it right next to the Foundation Statue towards the East of the map.
As of now, this skatepark is still a work in progress. However, this may not be the case for much longer! This location has been rumored to be a POI for an event coming to Fortnite very soon.
Thanks to this, we are almost certain that skating will be coming to Fortnite. The question is – when?

When Can We Expect Skating And Roller Blading In Fortnite?
It’s basically confirmed that the new update is coming to Fortnite on July 19, and data miners have revealed that the skatepark introduced not long ago will be a part of the event that will take place.
Of course, this means that skating and roller blading will most likely be introduced alongside the long-awaited Summer update!
We can expect the skatepark to be fully finished by July 19 and this feature to be added straight away. However, this isn’t yet confirmed by Epic Games itself.
Thanks to leaks, we already know that skating mechanics have been in development for a while. Apparently, these mechanics will be fairly similar to sliding.
Ever since these leaks emerged, players have been asking for a Tony Hawk skin in Fortnite! Perhaps this is another collaboration we could expect in the game.
This wouldn’t come as a shock, since Fortnite are going very heavy on the collabs lately! So far, we have already heard leaks of a possible Dragon Ball Z crossover in Fortnite.
