Animoca Brands announces the company has completed a capital raise of $75 million. Back in January 2022, the company raised $358 million at a $5 billion valuation.
Animoca Brands has been advancing new ways of growing the open metaverse by investing in major brands, acquisitions, and securing licenses for virtual property.
Kingsway Capital, Alpha Wave Ventures. Liberty City Ventures, Cosmic Summit Investment Limited, 10T SG Spring Limited Partnership Fund, Generation Highway Limited, and others participated in the investment round.
The company is using NFTs and blockchain to deliver true digital ownership and creating opportunities in GamaFi and DeFi that include P2E and much more.
The emerging open metaverse is home to monetization and in-game rewards in blockchain games and Animoca Brands is focused on providing support, interoperability, and an open framework that’ll lead to greater metaverse growth.
