All New Shadow Pokemon Coming to Pokemon GO
With 8 new offerings to encounter, here’s a list of the new Shadow Pokemon datamined to be coming to Pokemon GO very soon:
- Patrat
- Watchog
- Purrloin
- Liepard
- Ducklett
- Swanna
- Foongus
- Amoonguss

To catch these Shadow Pokemon, players will need to battle against Rocket Grunts at select PokeStops and Rocket Balloons. And while none of them will be too powerful in-game, there’s one that is already catching players’ eyes.

And it’s not the only one that’ll be effective! Given the popularity of Bronzor in competitive battling, Shadow Purrloin might be an even more powerful counter.
