Popular Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade has passed away at the young age of 23 after battling with Stage four cancer.
News about the YouTube sensation’s death came earlier today from the streamer’s family in one final video, which included a gut-wrenching message from Technoblade for his fans.
The YouTuber has been one of the game’s most popular creators, with many claiming him to be the best at what he does. Technoblade has been part of several iconic Minecraft moments, which includes his involvement in Dream’ SMP server and many more.
The YouTuber whose real name is Alex had made his diagnosis public last year in a video on his YouTube channel. Since then, his involvement in the YouTube Minecraft scene had decreased drastically, as he underwent chemotherapy and other treatments to battle the cancer.

10 months after he revealed the diagnosis, Technoblade’s YouTube channel had a new video upload titled “so long nerds”, in which the YouTuber’s father announced that Alex passed away after fighting hard.
In the video, the father narrated Technoblade’s final message for his fandom with a Minecraft gameplay in the background in which, the popular creator thanked his fans for the love and support he had received over the years.
Following Technoblade’s message, his father detailed Alex’s last moments and the latter’s plans to create one final video for his fans. The video then ends with a statement from the family, which highlighted Technoblade’s spirit that will live on in the world of Minecraft.

Streamers, YouTubers and Minecraft community members paid respects to Technoblade, with many of them sharing some great anecdotes and interactions they have had with him over the years.
