HBO Max PS5 App Gets 4K Streaming Update, At Last

The HBO Max PS5 app can now display movies and TV shows at 4K resolution thanks to a new update.

To access the new specialised app on PS5, the HBO Max PS4 app needs to be started, at which point it will ask users if they wish to switch to the new app.

Once the new PS5 HBO Max app is started, it’ll then request that users re-enter their account details to get started.

After launching back in May 2020, HBO Max has not only had tentpole movie releases such as The Batman, Joker, The Matrix Resurrections and more, but also hot property TV shows such as Tokyo Vice, Harley Quinn and much more besides.
