The Legend of Bum-bo, a puzzle-based deck-building roguelike and prequel to The Binding of Isaac from the wonderfully twisted mind of Edmund McMillen, is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S on June 29th.
The quirky game launched on Steam back in late 2019 to a warm reception, but due to its mouse-driven nature, McMillen expressed concerns over adapting The Legend of Bum-bo for console. Now, though, it looks like the team has found a way to make it work, and it seems like it’ll be coming to Xbox a lot sooner than we expected.
The Legend of Bum-bo confirmed for Xbox Series X|S
As well as an Xbox Store page, our very-clever scanners have pulled in a little extra info on the game, giving us a release date of June 29th and a file size of around 4GB. Oddly, it appears that Bum-bo will be skipping Xbox One, although it’s not the first indie oddity to do so and it’s unlikely to be the last, either.
Excited to give Bum-bo a try? Let us know!
