Fortnite’s latest update has brought a new item called the Grapple Glove. Here’s where to find the Grapple Glove in your next match.
Epic Games is consistently changing the meta by adding new items, balancing existing weapons, and bringing more fun to Fortnite.
And sometimes, Epic Games even disable items in Fortnite that introduce exploits like the Dragon Rune Lance recently.
Thankfully, it’s not an item being disabled this time, but rather, a brand new item for players to try out in their matches.
Here’s what the Grapple Glove does, and where you can find one in Fortnite!
Fortnite Grapple Glove / Stop Locations + Map
Players who want to get the new Grapple Glove in Fortnite will need to look for Grapple Glove Toolboxes. These can be found at pink Grapple Stops across the island. There’s a total of 10 Grapple Stops.
Grapple Gloves function similarly to that of Spider-Man’s Mythic, the Web-Shooters, in early Chapter 3 of Fortnite. Except, they’ve been more balanced, with only 30 shots in normal matches and 10 in competitive matches.
Once you’ve arrived at a Grapple Stop, you can open the Grapple Glove Toolboxes. Each Grapple Stop contains three toolboxes, with each Grapple Glove Toolbox holding a Grapple Glove.
You can find a map of these locations below. They’re spread out fairly over the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 map, with many Grapple Stops being beside roads, on hills, etc.

Upon using, players will be able to swing across and clear gaps quite fast to eliminate enemy players. You can also combo them with Fortnite’s updated parkour system, so slide around and swing about! Each successive swing increases your speed, with the third swing being the maximum speed.
However, missing a shot will require you to wait for the Grapple Glove to cool down. Make sure to keep your aim steady.
