FromSoftware has put out another update for Elden Ring, bringing a host of bug fixes along with much faster loading on Xbox Series X|S — a handy highlight for those still working through the massive RPG.
You can check out the full patch notes if you’re looking for something specific, but the main takeaway for Xbox Series X|S players is likely to be the considerably snappier loading, both when launching the game and when teleporting to new locations. If you’re still chipping away at the Elden Ring achievements, this could actually save a good bit of time across multiple runs.

Also spotted among the notes are fixes for several exploits players have been using — “Fixed a bug in which arrows and bolts that did not match the type of long-range weapon could be released in certain procedures,” for instance, so no more firing greatbolts from that little hand crossbow. There aren’t many balance changes in this one (unlike the last update), but a few fixes to certain weapons and skills should naturally see them performing better now. “Improved stability of online multiplayer” was a welcome thing to see, too, if a little vague.
Anything in the notes catch your eye? Impressed with the much faster load times? Done with the game so none of this matters now? Let us know!
