When Is Overwatch 2’s Second PVP Beta Release Date?
It looks as though Overwatch 2’s second PVP Beta will be released in early July 2022. A new tease from Twitch Rivals appears to hint at when the game will go live again.
Recently, the official Overwatch Twitter revealed an upcoming Pride Celebration, in collaboration with Twitch. Although the account didn’t specify that Overwatch 2 would be featured, it revealed a $250,000 prize pool to support the LGBTQIA+ community as well as a start date of July 12.
However, the real tease came when Twitch Rivals retweeted the announcement, adding one last hint at what to expect.

“Can’t wait to jump into OW2 on Twitch Rivals,” the quoted tweet read. And while more details are coming soon, we can certainly speculate that the Overwatch 2 Beta will therefore return in early July.
Chances are, the Beta could go live again prior to the July 12 kick-off. However, it’s also possible that select content creators will be taking part in Twitch Rivals on Overwatch 2, despite no Beta going live.
When the game was in Beta last time, Overwatch 2 temporarily became the most-viewed game on Twitch. If more Beta keys go live through Twitch drops this time around, we could see that happening again.
Plus, we’re likely getting another Overwatch 2 hero reveal alongside the second Beta too! We can’t wait to see what Blizzard has in store.
