We thought Techland were done with the original Dying Light. Critically acclaimed as one of the greatest zombie games ever created, when the team behind it moved on to Dying Light 2, and delivered a Dying Light: Platinum Edition with all the content you could ever imagine, we thought that was the end of it. But it wasn’t and now Techland have produced the Dying Light Definitive Edition, promising that it really is the end for that game.
Available today to purchase and download on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC, with a Nintendo Switch launch occurring at a later date, the Dying Light: Definitive Edition is seen as the grand finale for Techland’s stunner.
It’s priced at £47.99 and comes to market as the ‘full Dying Light experience’. What that means is you’re getting access to the base game plus no less than twenty-six (yes, 26) DLC pieces. These come in the form of skin bundles and expansion packs, with them having dropped over the course of the last seven years.
