Police arrested a person on a number of felony fees after seizing 17.5 grams of fentanyl and a handgun outdoors a north Austin sport room.
Matthew Evans, 38, was apprehended on Tuesday, July 2, at roughly 3:40 p.m. close to the intersection of I-35 and East Braker Lane, based on an Austin Police Division affidavit.
Officers from the division's North Metro Tactical Unit had been conducting a patrol within the space as a result of elevated narcotics exercise. They acknowledged Evans leaving the sport room and confirmed he had an excellent felony warrant for a parole violation, court docket doc mentioned.
