Fortnite has recently-added Xbox Cloud Gaming platform which allows the players to quickly launch the game via browser on iOS, iPadOS, Android phones and tablets, and Windows PC without the need of Xbox Game Pass subscription. Players just need a smart device without any heavy specifications and a high speed internet connection to play Fortnite anywhere they want.
Players will just need to open their web browser and go to Xbox.com/play, launch Fortnite and begin playing through the on-screen controls or use a third-party controller. Safari, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge are the only browsers that support Xbox Cloud Play, so players should not try to log in through any other browser. Players will just need to link their Microsoft/Xbox account to their Epic Account to start playing.
To promote their partnership with Xbox Cloud Play, Fortnite is providing the players that log in through this platform with a free pickaxe. The free pickaxe that players will be provided with is the Dazzle Daggers pickaxe, all they need to do to obtain this pickaxe is to log in Xbox Cloud Play between the dates June 5, 2022 and June 20, 2022 and they will find this pickaxe in their inventory at absolutely no cost.
