If you were hoping to hop into some Fortnite, you’re currently out of luck. As is often the case with the game’s major live events, the Epic Games servers are going down while the developer prepares for the new season.
As ever, players’ Battle Passes are getting a full reset, alongside any Gold Bars they might have collected. And there are sure to be more than a few changes alongside the new major update too.
We already know from past leaks that Darth Vader looks to be a major part of Fortnite Season 3! But as for what else is on the way, we’re not too sure.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Start Time – When Are Fortnite Servers Coming Back Up?
Fortnite servers will be down after the event but they should be coming back online for Chapter 3 Season 3 very soon! Here’s what we know:
Although Epic Games hasn’t announced exactly when the new season will begin, past downtimes indicate that the servers should go live in around 2-3 hours.
There have certainly been some longer downtimes in Fortnite’s history, but for now we have no reason to suspect this will be a long wait.

We expect, therefore, that Fortnite servers will go live with Chapter 3 Season 3 at around 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT at the latest. However, we’ll update this post as more information becomes available!
