If you want to change your difficulty level in Diablo Immortal, first you’ll need to prove you’re ready for a challenge.
Diablo Immortal is out now and it’s already starting to take over all of our free time. Whether you’re whipping out your mobile phone in spare moments or grinding it out on PC, there’s plenty of content to check out.
Be sure to enable cross-progression in Diablo Immortal and you’ll be able to play at home or on the go!
But there are several differences between the mobile and PC versions of Immortal that you’ll want to know about first.

Does Diablo Immortal Have Difficulty Levels?
Yes, Diablo Immortal does indeed have harder difficulties to try out but all players will begin their adventure on Normal by default.
After that, it’s possible to change your difficulty level to suit your confidence. Raising the difficulty will boost the combat rating of monsters you encounter – but it’ll also lead to better loot drops!
Select a Hell difficulty level and you’ll be able to increase your Paragon level. Get that high enough and you can turn up the heat even further.
Here are all the difficulty levels you can switch between freely:
- Normal: Character Level 1-60
- Hell 1: Paragon Level 1-60. Monster Combat Rating: 390
- Hell 2: Paragon Level 30-130. Monster Combat Rating: 1190
- Hell 3: Paragon Level 90-210. Monster Combat Rating: 2150
- Hell 4: Paragon Level 160-300. Monster Combat Rating: 3270
No matter your difficulty, you can make Diablo Immortal easier with this simple trick!

How to Change Difficulty Level in Diablo Immortal
To change your difficulty level, you’ll first need to reach Level 60. After that, head to Westmarch.
Open your minimap and select the skull button to the top right. This will allow you to change your difficulty level and make Diablo Immortal harder, or drop the challenge down again.
Still on your grind? Here’s how to finish the Diablo Immortal Battle Pass in record time!
And you’ll need to act fast, as Diablo Immortal Season 2’s release date is just around the corner.
But right now Diablo fans are angry at Immortal locking cosmetics to a single character – even when bought in the store!
