There are a bunch of changes that players will observe with the latest Iron Banner, such as; removed power level requirements, new introductory quest, return of the Rift and more. Forging Iron Quest
This is the introductory quest for Destiny 2 Season 17 that players need to complete. Firstly, the players will need to the Tower and talk to Lord Saladin to begin this quest. The players should move towards the first step of completing the quest, which is playing a match in the Iron Banner. It is pretty easy to complete this step as players can head over to the Crucible Tab, switch to Iron Banner and simply begin the match, winning or losing is not important, only completion is necessary.
The next step, which has many players of the game bamboozled, is completing a daily challenge. This is one of the new changes brought to Iron Banner, where after every 4 days of the Iron Banner Week, the players will receive a Daily Challenge by the Guardians. Players can choose whichever Daily Challenge they wish to as they do not expire until the week is over. As soon as they complete their preferred daily challenge, players should move on to the next step.
In the next step, the players will need to earn some Iron Banner Rank Points. This step is easy but will take time according to the player’s skill level. The players will have to compete in Iron Banner matches and winning them will fetch the players the most Iron Banner Rank Points. Another recommended preparation for completing this step is wearing Iron Banner Gear and using Iron Banner Weapons that were procured in previous seasons as this will help fetch rank points even faster.
After that, the players should head back to Lord Saladin and acquire an Iron Banner Engram through the Rank Points they have earned. The players will also obtain cosmetic items and rewards for the time they have spent playing Iron Banner matches. Once the player has the Engram, the players should focus on procuring some Iron Banner Loot, which in turn will help them obtain Iron Banner Armour and Weapons.
This will also help in the next step as the players need to compete in Iron Banner matches wearing the latest Iron Banner Armour. The players need to at least have one piece of armour equipped and for every additional piece of gear, the players will progress faster in the challenge. After that is done, the players will need to speak to Lord Saladin again to mark the completion of the introductory quest.
