12 is my favorite, the gambit system, and the ability to customize any character to be any way so I could choose whoever to be on the team, and the world of 12 I really like, I think its been used for tactics, 12, and 14, also because it was open world the battle scenarios didn’t take away from adventuring. I didn’t like that the best items in the game were tied to the fact that you’d have to have someone with steal on to get them. 13 was fun and I like that each of the characters was like specific magic or buffs in the beginning given them a feel of difference, working on 13-2 right now and ff tactics, the level progression feels very different in 13-2 compared to 13, 7 i think its setting and story progressed very well for its time, as well I think 7 probably had the best full roster of characters that I liked compared to other ff games where I only end up liking a few or half of the characters especially Vincent, ff7 dirge of cerberus was fun just cuz I was a fan of him and wanted to learn more, but when I think back on the gameplay, i don’t think it was very fun. I wanna play 8 and 9 next. Ff1 and 2 will always be nostalgic for me, and ff10 I liked some of the characters, but like 13 it was very story oriented for a large portion of the game so when I got to the point that I could go back and adventure, its like I have so much to go back on, also I’m mixed feeling on blitzball haha. Will hopefully get around to 10-2, but without lulu at the beginning I lost interest haha. Ff15 I had more fun on the multiplayer comrades expansion cuz magic wasn’t a resource in it and the character build worked out well, and ff15 might have one of my fav endings tho, and I think I like ff15 chocobos over the other games. Hard to pick a favorite but yeah I think 12. Old version was kinda broken how early you could get some of the endgame buffs and spells, so I think I like zodiac version better.
