Congressional Republicans dealt their Democratic counterparts a drubbing in a lopsided 31-11 win on the Congressional Baseball Sport on Wednesday night time.
Democrats led briefly within the second inning, 5-4. However their benefit didn’t final and the GOP ran away with the sport due to a mixed whole of 15 runs within the third, fourth and fifth innings.
So as to add insult to damage, Republicans ran up the rating within the prime of the seventh inning, placing up a whopping 10 runs. The decide of the bunch was a three-run inside-the-park house run by Rep. August Pfluger (R-Texas).
