It’s about to be a brand-new month, and here are all the Spotlight Hour events coming to Pokemon GO in June 2022!
Once per week, Pokemon GO hosts a Spotlight Hour mini-event. These hour-long occurrences put the spotlight on a single Pokemon, making it incredibly easy to find in the wild.
Not only will that Pokemon be spawning constantly as you travel, but each Spotlight Hour also comes with a special bonus.
For example, the recent Magikarp Spotlight Hour gave players double XP for all evolutions that took place during the event! What’s more, it offered up the perfect opportunity for players to finally nab that Gyarados they’ve been after.

Bear in mind, Spotlight Hours are the perfect places to hunt for a shiny Pokemon. Although they don’t offer increased shiny chances, the higher spawn rate will often help you track one or two down regardless!

Nosepass Spotlight Hour – June 7

First up is Nosepass, a Rock-type Pokemon that first appeared in Gen 3.
Players will also get double Catch Candy when catching any Pokemon in the Spotlight Hour. Of course, you’re most likely to be finding Nosepass.
Don’t forget that you can use a Magnetic Lure and your new Nosepass Candy to evolve the Pokemon into Probopass!

Mantine Spotlight Hour – June 14

Next up is Mantine on June 14, a rather disappointing pick for those who took part in the recent Pokemon GO Water Festival.
Luckily you’ll at least be able to receive double Candy for all Pokemon transferred during this special hour. Be sure to stock your Pokemon Box as full as possible before the event goes live!

Spinarak Spotlight Hour – June 21

On June 21, Spinarak will take center stage. The Bug/Poison-type Pokemon can evolve into Ariados for a decent power boost, and players will get extra XP for their trouble.
In fact, all evolutions will grant double XP during this Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour. Pop a Lucky Egg right before evolving your low-cost ‘mons for some easy leveling!

Right now, we’re not sure as to what the June 28 Spotlight Hour will be in Pokemon GO, nor what its bonus is. However, after a somewhat lacking month, we’ve got to hope Niantic will go out with a bang.
Lately, Pokemon GO players have been protesting ‘rip off’ prices in the popular mobile game. And some fans are even planning a boycott of Pokemon GO Fest 2022 because of their outrage.
It’s not hard to see why they feel this way. After all, remote raiding just got a lot harder in Pokemon GO, meanwhile, Niantic is raising the price of Remote Raid Passes.
