Crossovers between games has become a popular trend where one game enters the world of another in order to promote themselves and grow the player base for both entities. Fortnite is one of the biggest names in collaborations and has managed to bring in all the top names to the game, other games have followed this trend. Minecraft has also dwelled in the crossover game and has just announced its latest collaboration.
Minecraft’s latest collaboration is with Angry Birds, the extremely popular mobile slingshot game. Minecraft will be introducing the Angry Bird flock and their arch nemesis, the Green Piggies, in an all new adventure pack DLC that can be purchased from the Minecraft Marketplace. Players will be able to experience the fan favourite slingshot game the Minecraft way with this new DLC.
The Angry Birds DLC consists of two new game modes and a whole lot of cosmetics for the players to collect. The two new game modes are as follows; the first one is a Classic mode where the players will be able to experience the game’s iconic slingshot style gameplay in a Minecraft world with blocky characters and environment.
The other game mode is called Mission Mode, where players will have to save the popular characters such as Chuck, Bomb, Stella, and more. This will take place across 4 new unique environments and players will be able to use these characters and their special abilities to fight against the Green Piggies as and when they save them.
Minecraft will be providing a lot of cosmetic goodies for the players to enjoy through this DLC. The Angry Birds DLC will consist of 6 new playable characters, 10 character skins and one Angry Birds Character Creator item. The new DLC is live now and the players will be able to experience the adventure with the Angry Birds flock and take on the evil Green Piggies as soon as they download the DLC.
