JACKSONVILLE — After a dominant 6-1 victory within the opening recreation of the Class 7A championship collection, Central Phenix-Metropolis pressured a winner-take-all contest after a 6-2 triumph Wednesday over Bob Jones.
Bob Jones scored within the opening inning following a Braden Sales space RBI. He completed the competition with majority of the offense including one other RBI and solo house run.

Within the backside of the third inning, Landon Beaver’s triple despatched house two Central Phenix gamers house to take a 3-1 lead.
Hunter Wippert despatched house Weaver for an RBI within the sixth inning. A sacrifice fly from Sam Brown despatched in Weaver for the second rating within the inning.
Central Phenix pitcher Brody Stamp took over the mound within the third inning and held Bob Jones scoreless for 3 innings. His three strikeouts helped shut out the sport for the Crimson Devils.
Recreation 3 is scheduled for Wednesday night.
