NFT Detective ZachXBT Doxxes Founder Of Slow Rug: The Rogue Society - Gaming News google.com, pub-1884294887586162, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

NFT detective ZachXBT has finally identified the founder behind The Rogue Society NFT project. Going by the name Leche, the missing founder reportedly ran away after raising $5.5 million from the project.

Apparently, Leche has an old YouTube page with a Twitter link to @gamingleche. If you search for @gamingleche on Twitter, you will find that it is the old Twitter handle for @LecheTheMilky. What’s more, The Rogue Society NFT founder accidentally leaked his real name in one of his YouTube streams. According to Zach, his name is Jahvin Bowman.

A slow rug pull on The Rogue Society NFT project by its founder

To begin with, The Rogue Society was a PFP NFT collection with 15,777 Robot NFTs launched in September 2021. After raising $5.5 million from the launch, the founder of The Rogue Society NFT project went out of sight. At the time of writing, Leche’s latest post in Discord was 4 months apart from his last announcement in December 2021. That’s quite alarming, don’t you think so?

According to Zach, the slow rug has been happening for 7 months. And The Rogue Society NFT founder and his team didn’t even attempt to deliver any of its roadmap items during this period. Some of these include free NFT airdrops, a merch store, a theme song, and more. If this doesn’t look like a rug pull to you, I don’t know what will.

Where did all the funds go?

So where did all the money go? On that matter, Zach managed to map out how Leche distributed the funds to different wallet addresses as shown above. Accordingly, The Rogue Society NFT founder has cashed out $3.4 million of funds through Coinbase last month. While another $100k of funds went to a user called azerothop.eth.

Nonetheless, with the recent doxxing by ZachXBT, Leche has decided to go active in the Discord chat today. However, take note that one of the characteristics of a slow rug pull is that the project team will not completely disappear. Instead, some of the team members might reappear now and then to give a false impression that they are working on the project.
