Finding Iron and Crafting Iron Ingots

Minecraft is game where finding resources and crafting through them is the crux of it. Players will find themselves investing hours, mining for resources that can help them craft tools or items to better their mining in the game. Players need to continuously upgrade the material of their tools to mine for better quality resources.

One of the main things that players will look for after having the basic set of tools is a set of Iron tools. Iron tools are extremely helpful in the game and they allow the player to mine for more valuable resources such as Gold and Diamonds. Players with Wooden tools or Stone tools will not be able to mine for Gold or Diamonds as these tools are not sturdy enough to withstand the pressure.

In order to make Iron Tools, the players will need to get their hands on Iron Ingots. Iron Ingots need to be crafted and this process can be done by putting the Iron ores into a furnace. Crafting iron tools is not such a big issue, the challenge lies in finding Iron Ores as these need to be mined for.

To find Iron ores, the players will have to build a cave deep down as Iron is not found anywhere close to the surface level. To get an idea the players should keep mining until they come across blocks of Cobblestone. Iron Ore can be found at a layer that comes right after Cobblestone in Minecraft.

Players will have to be weary of their surroundings and follow a proper mining system. The players can either use the branch mining technique or mine in a straight line downwards to hit Iron Ore. Iron Ores are normally found in cave like areas, so if a player comes across a cave in Minecraft, they are sure to find an abundant supply of Iron. Two things that players need to be careful about when mining for iron is the enemies and the sudden lava pits that can be formed when the player digs deep enough.

Once the player has mined enough of Iron Ore, they should put that Iron Ore into the furnace and turn it into Iron Ingots. After the players have an abundant supply of Iron Ingots, they can go ahead and make sturdier tools to mine for valuable resources such as Gold and Diamonds in Minecraft.
