Unpacking is slated for a release on PS5 and PS4 in Spring 2022, Humble Games and Witch Beam have announced. The game was previously released in November 2021 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
In addition to the digital version of Unpacking, you’ll also be able to pick up a physical edition of the game on PS4, PS5 and Switch via Limited Run Games, with preorders now open.
Described as a zen game, Unpacking does pretty much what it says on the tin, with players unboxing items for a new home. There’s eight moves in total, and you’ll gradually unpack items via block-fitting puzzles without the pressure of a timer or scores to worry about.
Unpacking’s meditative gameplay is complemented by a soundtrack masterminded by BAFTA award-winning composer and audio director, Jeff van Dyck.
