NC basketball single-game scoring document Paul McNeil – The Fayetteville Observer

The North Carolina Excessive College Athletic Affiliation has a brand new single-game scoring chief.
Richmond Senior’s Paul McNeil Jr. poured in 71 factors Tuesday because the Raiders defeated Lee County 118-52 in Laurinburg, beating the 74-year-old document of 67 factors scored by Clayton’s Bob Poole in 1950.
McNeil, a 6-foot-6 senior wing, was the Gatorade North Carolina Participant of the 12 months as a sophomore for the Raiders. Ranked No. 6 general within the state and the No. 10 capturing guard nationally by 247Sports Composite, McNeil signed with NC State in November.

McNeil’s highest-scoring sport to this point this season had been a 50-point outing in opposition to First Flight in a 90-45 win on Dec. 1.
