Blizzard has some Overwatch 2 rewards for playing over the rest of November, while Season One’s last double XP weekend kicks off today too.
Overwatch 2 is handing out a highlight intro for Junker Queen followed by one for Kiriko, while a double XP weekend begins today.
Overwatch 2 double XP weekend kicks off today
If you play before November 26th, you can grab the “Five Fingers” highlight intro for Junker Queen, while playing between November 27th and December 1st will get you Kiriko’s “On The Wind” highlight intro.
Today, meanwhile, marks the start of Season One’s last double XP weekend, which runs until November 28th with double match XP on offer. “What better opportunity to complete your premium Battle Pass and earn your Mythic Cyber Demon Genji skin,” Blizzard adds.
Blizzard did recently remark that it’s not “completely satisfied” with Overwatch 2’s rewards, and that it wants players “to feel more rewarded just for sitting down and playing.” To that end, it has a number of changes in mind for Season Two onwards. We’ll keep an eye out for what these changes might be.
