Another update has launched for the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 but the catch is it won’t be released on Nintendo Switch until “early January 2024”.<\/p>\n

Although Version 1.4.0 isn’t out on every platform just yet, Konami has shared the full patch notes – so you can at least see what’s coming. This update covers multiple games in the collection adds new features and addresses some issues.<\/p>\n

METAL GEAR SOLID – Master Collection Version<\/h3>\n

Ver.1.4.0<\/strong> is now available for users on Steam\u00ae<\/strong>!
This version is currently planned for release on PlayStation\u00ae 5, PlayStation\u00ae 4, Nintendo Switch\u2122, and Xbox Series X|S early January 2024.<\/p>\n

(2) Game Screen Settings<\/strong>
Can be set to \u201cStandard\u201d, \u201cPixel Perfect\u201d, or \u201c16:9\u201d.
The Steam\u00ae version of the game also features a \u201cFullscreen\u201d feature. Can be set to a total of 4 settings\u2014\u201cStandard\u201d, \u201cPixel Perfect\u201d, \u201c16:9\u201d, or \u201cFullscreen\u201d.
Wallpaper, display area, and screen filter features are also available when using the \u201cStandard\u201d or \u201cPixel Perfect\u201d features.
The aspect ratio displayed may differ based on the settings or particulars of your device\/setup.<\/p>\n

(3) Screen Filter<\/strong>
Can be turned ON or OFF.
Applies a filter that displays scanlines like those on a CRT TV when turned ON.<\/p>\n

Added an audio settings feature
Settings for the game volume and main menu volume can be changed prior to play.
Only the game volume can be changed during play.<\/p>\n

Added a controller response speed customization feature ( Steam\u00ae )
Can choose between \u201cFast\u201d (new!) and \u201cStable\u201d.
Some setups may experience unstable performance when set to \u201cFast\u201d.
If you experience any such issues, please change your settings to \u201cStable\u201d.<\/p>\n
