Florida State<\/a> head coach Mike Norvell confirmed on Friday that quarterback Tate Rodemaker will be a game-day decision, saying that the redshirt junior is \u201cworking through the process\u201d after passing a sideline concussion test last Saturday but experiencing some symptoms on Sunday.
He\u2019s practiced in a limited capacity, with Brock Glenn getting the bulk of snaps with the first team.
Rodemaker left the Seminoles\u2019 win over the Gators late in the fourth quarter after taking an illegal shot to the head from two different Florida players while trying to pick up first down via scramble on third and long.

Glenn scored his first Florida State touchdown two weeks ago against North Alabama and is listed as the second quarterback behind Rodemaker on this week\u2019s depth chart.
A four-star prospect who was the No. 13 quarterback in last year\u2019s class, he came into the game in relief of Rodemaker for two plays during the win over the Gators.

After Jordan Travis\u2019 heartbreaking injury, every QB room member was given a new opportunity. So far, the Memphis native has seized the moment. He does not seem overwhelmed by the moment or facing the studs on the FSU defense. His passes are on time, on target, and delivered with plenty of zip. Today, his best play went incomplete, but it showcased all of his talent. The play called for an RPO, and Glenn pulled the ball. However, no one underneath was open. He instead rolled right to extend the play and fired a 25-yard dart on the run that fell off Johnny Wilson\u2019s hands and hit the greying grass. He is still a freshman and struggles with pressure in his face, but he reads the field incredibly well. Instead of putting the ball in harm\u2019s way during a couple 1 on 1 routes, the freshman calmly tucked the ball and turned to the next rep. Alex Atkins described Brock Glenn the best during his media availability yesterday.
\u201cBrock is going to be an exceptional football player…he doesn\u2019t miss a rep even when he\u2019s not in there…he is preparing himself like a starter ever since I met him.\u201d
On Wednesday, however, he noted that both Rodemaker and Glenn had struggles<\/a>:
Tate Rodemaker looked indecisive in his decisions and still needed help knowing when his throws needed zip or air. Brock Glenn processed information quickly for the second day but made true freshman mistakes. His issue results from inconsistency, where he will do everything right one play, and then Mike Norvell will be in his year the next. AJ Duffy has been steady the last two practices but has not put on display any eye-popping displays or impressive moments. Not all of the miscues on offense can be blamed on the quarterbacks. Many wide receivers dropped simple passes on strictly route-running drills with no defense. At least five snaps hit the turf during 11 on 11 or scout teamwork throughout the day, which created a livid Alex Atkins. After practice, Mike Norvell did not seem concerned about the up-and-down play from his QBs.
\u201cI think they\u2019re embracing the challenge that they have against the team that we are going against, and they\u2019re continuing to work through it.\u201d
Florida State, who opened as a 5.5 point favorite over Louisville, is now favored by 1 point according to DraftKings.

\u00bb FSU has held every opponent this season to fewer than 30 points. The 12-game streak is the longest active in the ACC and the 3rd-longest active streak in the country. The last time Florida State held 12 straight opponents to fewer than 30 points was a 12-game streak in 2015, which also covered every game of the regular season.
\u00bb The Seminoles boast one of the nation\u2019s best pass defenses, leading the country in opponent completion percentage (47.6) and pass breakups (67). FSU\u2019s defense also ranks 2nd nationally in total passes defended (76), 4th in fewest passing touchdowns allowed (8) and 5th in opponent passing efficiency (100.32).
\u00bb Florida State (47.6%) is the only team in the nation forcing more incompletions than completions allowed. The last time a P5 team held its opponents below 50 percent completions in a season was 2018, when Michigan and LSU<\/a> posted marks of 49.5 and 49.7 percent, respectively, and the last time FSU held its opponents below 50 percent completions for a season was 2012.
