Forza Horizon 5 Series 27 Summer Photo <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nA new Series of Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges is always something to look forward to in Forza Horizon 5<\/strong>, and Series 27 is no different. This time around we are focusing on all things American. American Automotive, that is, hopefully we won\u2019t be inundated by orange politicians with stupid hair!<\/p>\nIn an interesting accident of timing, this Series launches exactly two years after the base game was unleashed, so I\u2019ll hopefully be the first to wish Forza Horizon 5 a happy birthday! With more American cars than you can shake a stick at being shoehorned into the next four weeks, and the release of a new paid DLC pack of american cars to also be included for your consideration, it doesn\u2019t appear we will be short of things to try and aim at, does it?<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s get straight into the action, pardners. Yeehaw?<\/p>\n
Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge \u2013 Mustang Madness<\/h2>\n
The weekly challenge car this week focuses on a Mustang, and in a break from tradition, you can choose whichever one you fancy. Either the classic 1965 model, or the more up to date 2018 Mustang GT can be your steed of choice.<\/p>\n
Should you not have one in your garage, the Autoshow can hook you up, for 46,000 and 40,000 credits respectively.<\/p>\n
Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Chapter 2 \u2013 Flying Muscle<\/h3>\n
We now need to earn 6 stars at Danger Signs in our car of choice. Pick a nice one and fly like a bird!<\/p>\n
Chapter 3 \u2013 Waking the Neighbours<\/h3>\n
Can we win a street race in our car? I should think so, right? Good, cos that\u2019s what this next step requires!<\/p>\n
I did tune my 1965 model up a touch to C Class, and the share code is : 823624989.<\/p>\n
Chapter 4 -Eye\u00a0 Candy<\/h3>\n
Take a photo of your car. Pretty simple, right?<\/p>\n
Still do that and this week\u2019s challenge will be done, pushing us five points closer to the reward cars that are in place during Series 27.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts<\/h2>\n
Well, with that bit of fun over with (I secretly do like a Mustang, don\u2019t tell anyone) we are into the main body of the week now, with many races and stunts to try and win at. Are y\u2019all ready?<\/p>\n
The Trial \u2013 Cars and Stripes<\/h3>\n
Well, it appears the pun writer is back off holiday and straight into the swing of things!<\/p>\n
For this series of races, we need to use either a Mustang or a Camaro, tuned to the tippy top of S1 Class 900. I brought out an old favourite, the Shelby GT500 from 2020, and the share code for mine is : 335181307.<\/p>\n
Should we manage to win two out of three races, a lovely Chevy Camaro from 2015 is ours.<\/p>\n
Eventlab 1 \u2013 GTDENY Presents \u2013 Crop Circle stadium Rally<\/h3>\n
We need to get tuning to S1 Class 900 for this race, and the car needs to be a Hoonigan. I went with the Classic Escort RS1800, and my share code is : 264985022. This is one of my favourite cars in the whole game, I can\u2019t lie!<\/p>\n
A pretty fun layout this one, If I had one complaint it would be that the vegetation growing on the track makes it hard to see where to go if you are racing in the front bumper view that I like.<\/p>\n
The prize for completing this race is a 1977 Ford Escort.<\/p>\n
Eventlab 2 \u2013 Viexity Presents The Wild, Wild West \/\/Street\/\/<\/h3>\n
For this Eventlab, we need to use a Modern Supercar, from America, tuned to S1 Class 900. I used a Lexus LFA and the stock tune is more than quick enough.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m afraid it\u2019s a no from me on this one, there are too many obstacles sticking out into the road that bring you to a complete stop for my taste, and there doesn\u2019t seem to be any flow to the track.<\/p>\n
But there\u2019s a prize on offer for completion \u2013 a Super Wheelspin, for a change!<\/p>\n
PR Stunt 1 \u2013\u00a0 Speed Trap \u2013 Coast View<\/p>\n
This week the tuning limit for these events is S1 Class 900, and all the cars have to be American.<\/p>\n
The speed target for this challenge is 180mph, and as the course is on road, I went with a Shelby Mustang from 2020, with share code : 335181307.<\/p>\n
This is really tricky, as there are bends in both directions, but the run up from the south seems easier.<\/p>\n
We get a Super Wheelspin in return though. It\u2019ll do. Like we need wheelspins\u2026<\/p>\n
PR Stunt 2 \u2013 Speed\u00a0 Zone \u2013 Costa Rocosa<\/h3>\n
The target this time is to average 88mph through the zone, which doesn\u2019t sound like a lot.<\/p>\n
However, the course is off road, so I went with the same Hoonigan Escort from above, and the share code again is : 264985022.<\/p>\n

PR Stunt 3 \u2013 Drift Zone \u2013 Punto Norte<\/h3>\n
Here we need to score over 75,000 drift points, on an off road course. This may be tricky.<\/p>\n
I went with the Formula Drift Toyota Supra MK IV, as it is American apparently. Any of the Drift Mustangs will see you right if that is your preference.<\/p>\n
Your best bet is to hit the line sliding and you\u2019ll stand a chance. Plenty of handbrake!<\/p>\n

Seasonal Championship 1 \u2013 Oregon in 60 Seconds.<\/h3>\n
Good lord, the puns get worse, who would have thought it?<\/p>\n
Odd category of car this week, with the tuning limit being C Class 600, and the category \u2013 Iconic Film Cars (USA). Not a searchable category either\u2026<\/p>\n
There is not a lot of choice here, but I went with a Camaro Super Sport Coupe from 1969, and the share code is : 111544579.<\/p>\n
For winning outright solo, or best two out of three in a convoy, we can take home a Dodge Charger from 2015.<\/p>\n
Seasonal Championship 2 \u2013 Dodge This!<\/h3>\n
Can you guess what brand of car we need for this championship? Well, actually it is Chevrolet vs Dodge this week, tuned to S1 Class 900,\u00a0 and so I chose a classic Dodge Viper from 2008 and the share code is : 111641508.<\/p>\n
Should we win out, a Hummer H1 Is our prize.<\/p>\n
Part 3: Other Challenges<\/h2>\n
There\u2019s always more to get involved in than just the racing, and that is the case again this week.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s the Photo Challenge, and a Collectible challenge to get stuck into. There\u2019s also the Eliminator present and correct once more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Photo Challenge \u2013 #MEANSTREETS<\/h3>\n
Something a little bit different this week, as we need to photograph a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE in a street race. As such, there\u2019s not a fixed location, so I\u2019ll just have to showcase my best driving! My effort is up top.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The reward? A new piece of clothing, a Spaik short sleeved shirt. Not even a dinosaur print\u2026<\/p>\n
Collectible challenge \u2013 Field Goal<\/h3>\n
All around the Estadio Horizon, someone has left some American Football pinatas around the place, and we have to smash 6 of them. I\u2019ll show you a picture of what you are looking for below.<\/p>\n
For smashing sufficiently, we can have a new car horn, \u201cGoalll\u201d complete with three L\u2019s. Awesome.<\/p>\n
