COLUMBUS, Ohio — The last time we saw the Ohio State football <\/a>team it was escaping Notre Dame with a big-time win before heading out on an off week.
Now the Buckeyes return two weeks later to continue what\u2019s been a run of opponents with favorable records as Maryland comes to town. Dating back to last season, this will be the seventh straight game against an undefeated opponent, though that comes with the caveat of the Indiana game being a season opener, so it didn\u2019t have any wins either.
The last team OSU faced with a loss was Maryland in what eventually was a 43-30 win.
The 2023 edition of this matchup features two teams trying to build on early season momentum. Ohio State wants to pick up where it left off two weeks ago on its quest to regain Big Ten supremacy, while gearing up for eight straight weeks of games. Maryland wants to take the next step from Big Ten East bottom feeder to division contender by making a statement against one of its top teams.
