The week of 16th October is going to be an absolutely fantastic week for platforming fans with the release of both SEGA\u2019s Sonic Superstars and Nintendo\u2019s Super Mario Wonder. Speaking to Game Informer magazine, Super Mario Wonder producer Takashi Tezuka called it an interesting coincidence that both games will be launching in the same week. However, he understands that it will be a great week for the long-running genre and the team fully welcomes the move.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s an interesting coincidence. We\u2019ve been creating 2D action games for a long time and we, of course, want as many players as possible to enjoy those games. We\u2019re looking forward to as many people as possible having the opportunity to play these 2D side-scrolling action games, Mario and otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
