Hey Xbox Insiders! We have a new Xbox Update Preview coming to the Alpha ring. It\u2019s important we note that some updates made in these preview OS builds include background improvements that ensure a quality and stable build for Xbox consoles.<\/p>\n

We continue to post these release notes, even when the noticeable changes to the UI are minimal, so you\u2019re aware when updates are coming to your device. Details can be found below!<\/p>\n

System Update Details:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  • OS version released: <\/strong>XB_FLT_2310ZN\\25398.2453.230928-1038<\/li>\n
  • Available: <\/strong>2 p.m. PT \u2013 October 2, 2023<\/li>\n
  • Mandatory: <\/strong>3 a.m. PT \u2013 October 3, 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Fixes Implemented<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Thanks to the hard work of Xbox engineers, we are happy to announce the following fixes have been implemented for this build:<\/p>\n

    System<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Various updates to properly reflect local languages across the console.\n
        \n
      • Note<\/strong>: Users participating in Preview may see \u201codd\u201d text across the console, for more information go here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Known Issues<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        We understand some issues have been listed in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes. These items aren\u2019t being ignored, but it will take Xbox engineers more time to find a solution.<\/p>\n

        Audio<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • We have received reports of users experiencing intermittent issues with audio across the dashboard, games, and apps.\n
            \n
          • Note<\/strong>: If you experience issues with audio, please submit feedback via Report a Problem immediately with the \u201cReproduce with advanced diagnostics\u201d option, then select the category \u201cConsole experiences\u201d and \u201cConsole Audio Output Issues\u201d.<\/li>\n
          • Be sure to include as much information as possible:\n
              \n
            • When did the issue start?<\/li>\n
            • Did you lose audio just in the game\/app or system audio as well?<\/li>\n
            • Does changing the audio format resolve the issue? If yes, what was the format before and after?<\/li>\n
            • Does rebooting resolve the issue?<\/li>\n
            • What does your setup include? Equipment, layout, etc.<\/li>\n
            • And any additional information you can provide to reproduce the problem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Keyboard Button Mapping for Xbox Controllers<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              • If you change your keyboard language settings while the Xbox Accessories app is open, the change will be reflected after quitting the app or rebooting your console.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Manage Queue<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • When the queue is empty, the border around \u201cWhen games and apps are installing, you\u2019ll see them here\u201d may appear to extend off-screen. We are working on a fix.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Networking<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • We are investigating reports of an issue where the console may not connect to their network as expected on boot. If you experience this, be sure to report the issue via Report a Problem as soon as you\u2019re able.\n
                      \n
                    • Workaround<\/strong>: Wait a minute for the connection to establish. If your console still hasn\u2019t connected, restart your Xbox from the Power Center by holding the Xbox button > Restart console > Restart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Make sure to use\u00a0Report a problem<\/strong>\u00a0to keep us informed of your issue. We may not be able to respond to everyone, but the data we\u2019ll gather is crucial to finding a resolution.<\/p>\n
