According to Remedy\u2019s communications director, Thomas Puha, while Alan Wake 2 was designed as a 30FPS game, it will still have a Performance Mode for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. However, it\u2019s not currently known if the performance mode will run on 60FPS. When asked on Twitter if the mode will run at 60FPS, Puha responded that the team was \u201cStill Tweaking that.\u201d Alan Wake 2 will launch on\u00a0 October 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X\/S, and PC.<\/span><\/p>\n I\u2019m glad to say that Alan Wake 2 will have a Performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The game has been built from the beginning as a 30fps experience focusing on visuals and ambiance, but somehow we have managed to include a solid Performance mode.
