Despite Epic Games Store looking to be the de facto standard when it comes to launching web3 PC games, competitor Elixir Games is looking to position itself as a willing rival.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s highlighted a number of games which are launching exclusively on its platform, of which the most high profile is World Eternal Online<\/em>, a WoW-style MMORPG from US studio Core Loop.<\/p>\n

This exclusively is interesting as World Eternal Online<\/em> is also listed on the Epic Games Store as \u201ccoming soon\u201d, so this may be a case of a timed exclusive. <\/p>\n

Less contentious is the exclusively for Game for a Living\u2019s turn-based hero battler Elemental Raiders<\/em>, which isn\u2019t listed on any other stores. <\/p>\n

As well as Elixir and Epic, other web3 game stores include Ultra, Flame, HyperPlay and Robot Cache, plus dedicated hubs such as Mavis Hub and Gotchi Hub. Of course, many PC game developers are also releasing pure web2 versions of their games on Steam. <\/p>\n

Examples include Raini\u2019s The Lord of Light<\/em> \u2013 on Elixir and Epic Games Store \u2013 or Gala Games\u2019 Superior<\/em> \u2013 on Steam and Epic Games Store \u2013 while The Bornless<\/em> plans to be available on Ultra, Elixir, Epic Games Store and Steam. <\/p>\n

Of course, with some games being cross-platform, an increasing number are also now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Summoners War: Chronicles<\/em> is the prime example here with the PC version on Steam and Elixir and the mobile version on Apple and Google stores. <\/p>\n

As for Elixir, other game it\u2019s currently claiming as exclusive include: <\/p>\n

In total, Elixir claims it has partnerships with around 120 games deployed on the likes of Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB, Ethereum and Sui, of which around 50 titles are now listed on its platform. This is a similar amount to Ultra, although Epic Games Store now lists 61 titles. HyperPlay listed around 40 with Flame at around 20 titles listed. <\/p>\n

In terms of unique PC titles listed across all these platforms, the total is now over 220. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
