Japanese developer Technobrain announced a new DLC for the Steam version of its ATC simulator\u00a0I Am an Air Traffic Controller 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The DLC includes Osaka Itami Airport (RJOO), which is definitely an interesting addition since it’s one of the few major airports in Japan to be located within an urban area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It also has two very different runways of vastly different length that make operation more complex. On top of that, one side is blocked by mountains, enabling the rare “Itami Turn” circling approach maneuver\u00a0when the wind conditions require it<\/p>\n

Another aspect that makes the airport interesting is that it hosts a wide variety of widebody, narrowbody, regional jet, and regional turboprop flights. On top of that, the DLC features VIP flights including the American Air Force One and the Japanese Boeing 777 counterpart.\u00a0<\/p>\n
