Team Ninja has announced the\u00a0Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Conqueror of Jiangdong\u00a0<\/em>DLC release date.<\/p>\n

The DLC, which is the second major expansion for the game after June’s\u00a0Battle of Zhongyuan\u00a0<\/em>pack, launches across all platforms on September 27th.<\/p>\n

It will follow Sun Ce as he attempts to deal with the death of Sun Jian, so if you were wondering what the fallout of that event was, you’ll get to find out soon.<\/p>\n

As per the\u00a0Wo Long\u00a0<\/em>roadmap, the DLC will offer new stages, difficulty levels, and weapon types, as well as new enemies to fight and a new endgame mode. Team Ninja promises the DLC will provide a “thrilling exciting experience” for both\u00a0Wo Long\u00a0<\/em>experts and novices.<\/p>\n

In its\u00a0Conqueror of Jiangdong\u00a0<\/em>release date announcement, Team Ninja also confirms that a “new gameplay experience” will come to\u00a0Wo Long\u00a0<\/em>each month.<\/p>\n

These experiences span free updates, major balance adjustments, and DLC, as well as upcoming collaborations with sister franchise\u00a0Nioh\u00a0<\/em>and upcoming Soulslike\u00a0Lies of P<\/em>.<\/p>\n

If you haven’t checked out\u00a0Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty\u00a0<\/em>yet, it’s a Soulslike hack-and-slash action game set during the end of the Chinese Han dynasty.<\/p>\n

You’ll battle your way through a series of fictionalized battlefields, meeting real figures from Chinese history (although I’m pretty sure that the real Zhang Jiao didn’t turn into a lightning-infused demon).<\/p>\n

As you play, you’ll upgrade your character, unlock new weapons and skills, and revisit conquered battlefields for side missions in order to gain experience and become stronger.<\/p>\n

Conqueror of Jiangdong\u00a0<\/em>is the second of three major\u00a0Wo Long\u00a0<\/em>DLC packs that are planned for this year. The third,\u00a0Upheaval in Jingxiang<\/em>, is due to arrive sometime in December.<\/p>\n

While you wait,\u00a0Conqueror of Jiangdong\u00a0<\/em>launches for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on September 27th.
