Following its formal announcement yesterday, we\u2019ve got more details about nWay and its multiplayer mech fighting game Wreck League<\/em>. <\/p>\n

One interesting aspect is how the Yuga Labs\u2019 collaboration works. This will see holders of <\/p>\n

• Mutant Ape Yacht Club<\/em>, <\/li>\n
• Bored Ape Kennel Club<\/em>, and <\/li>\n
• Koda<\/em> NFTs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  able to claim a special Yuga-theme mech NFT for free. There will be two designs of mech for each of the Yuga collections, so eight unique Yuga mechs in total. <\/p>\n

  However, unlike most of Wreck League\u2019s<\/em> mechs \u2014 which consists of 10 individual NFT parts which can be assembled and disassembled \u2014 holders will not be able to take apart these Yuga mechs.<\/p>\n

  More generally, nWay will be selling NFT boxes of mech parts. Majestic boxes will contain 10 NFT parts that can be used to build a complete mech. There will also be Booster boxes, which will contain only five NFT parts, which can be used to modify existing mechs or build new ones. <\/p>\n

  Timing-wise, the first boxes will be sold in August \u2014 price TBA \u2014 with the rarity of the boxes revealed two weeks later. There will be six rarity tiers: common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, and Yuga, with the rarity of the box guaranteeing the rarity of the parts within.<\/p>\n

  It won\u2019t be possible to open the boxes until September, which will coincide with the game going live. As for the game, it will be available for PC\/Mac (and Android) through a launcher client.<\/p>\n

  When it comes to claiming the Yuga mechs, Koda<\/em> NFTs holders will be able to do so \u2014 also in August \u2014 with Mutant Ape <\/em>and Kennel Club<\/em> claiming next, followed by Bored Apes<\/em> holders, although these won\u2019t occur until October. <\/p>\n

  The other new information concerns Wreck League\u2019s<\/em> gameplay, with nWay stating that different parts will provide access to different types of attacks, which look like they are are controlled by a loadout of action cards, while other may grant special skills or improved energy meter or better block duration.<\/p>\n

  And it will be the combination of parts that will create each mech\u2019s strengths and weaknesses, which in turn will require a certain play style to optimize for success.<\/p>\n
