“I think it’s good news that the transaction can go through because it’s really showing the power of IPs and where the industry is going. So, there will be lots of opportunities in the future for all the companies,” Guillemot said. “It\u2019s also showing the value of IPs that can now be on console and PC, but also mobile, and become more worldwide brands, and when we say worldwide, it\u2019s really everywhere in the world, and that\u2019s a fantastic opportunity.<\/p>\n

“Microsoft is saying that the mobile part of the Activision deal is important, so all the investment we are making to be stronger on mobile are also in line with that, so all those elements will help the value of the company to grow.”<\/p>\n

Ubisoft has a packed slate between now and the end of March 31 that includes several big mobile games. As per its latest earnings report, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, The Division Resurgence, and Rainbow Six Mobile are all launching for mobile this fiscal year. On the docket for consoles and PC are Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Just Dance 24 Edition, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Skull and Bones, The Crew Motorfest, and XDefiant.<\/p>\n

Ubisoft also teased another “large game” for release this fiscal year. Many believe it could be Star Wars Outlaws, which was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase with a 2024 release window.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
