Cult-classic point-and-click horror game Clock Tower<\/em> is finally officially coming to the west, courtesy of developer WayForward. The Super Famicom game has never had an official localization, although fans online have found the time to translate it into English of their own accord. As a result. some have heard of the original game, but few have had the chance to play it. That will change when Clock Tower<\/em> comes to Nintendo Switch in early 2024.<\/p>\n

Among those who will be experiencing this new version of Clock Tower<\/em> for the first time will be, well, the original director. Hifumi Kouno, who has helmed other titles like Steel Battalion<\/em> and Infinite Space<\/em>, has apparently not been invited to participate in the production of this remaster. According to the folks at Time Extension (which is a wonderful website dedicated to all things retro gaming), after getting in touch with him about the project, Kouno sent an email their way establishing his lack of involvement:<\/p>\n
